Universal Measuring Device for Antenna Parameter Testing and Radio Traffic Analysis
Original language description
The paper describes a prototype of a universal measuring device for the antenna measurement and the radio traffic analysis. The proposed prototype of the device is primarily intended for the implementation of a command and control centre in field conditions where speed and high quality of radio communication is required. These are primarily communication centres where the quick crisis management is required, for example when building a communication centre at the site of a natural disaster or other emergency situation. The proposed prototype is unique due to the fact that all the necessary measurement equipment are combined into a single measurement unit and the price is quite low. In addition, the operator does not need to use any complex measuring station for the measurement in outdoor (field) conditions. The proposed prototype is lightweight, durable, portable and reliable with its own power supply. Although there exist devices that have similar use [1], the advantage of the proposed prototype is its great versatility of applications (expansion with new measurement possibilities) and especially the price of the measuring device.
