New Challenges in the Process of Future Military Pilots Selection
Original language description
The article describes the current admission process of selecting students for the military pilot specialization, points out its shortcomings and suggests an adjustment to the selection procedure that would lead to a more suitable selection of students both from an economic point of view and from the point of view of the needs of the Army of the Czech Republic and further work of pilots in the army. These adjustments to the selection process are proposed not only on the basis of precisely defined characteristics and skills that an applicant for studies in the military pilot specialization must have, but also against the background of the current geopolitical situation. With a high-quality selection process, we are able to secure the selection of the most suitable candidates, with a very high percentage of probability that they will help us in the event of an escalation of tense relations between the European Union and the Russian Federation. Based on the effective selection process of suitable candidates for individual positions in the army, it is more likely that in the event of further escalation of tense relations between the European Union and the Russian Federation, we will be able to successfully overcome this escalation.
