Fractional Differ-Integral Approach to Unsteady Filtration in Bi-Structured Porous Media

  • Original language description

This study applies the Kulish method to derive an analytical solution for unsteady filtration through a bistructured porous medium, where both flow and stagnation zones coexist. The resulting solution, expressed through fractional differintegral operators, relates local pressure values to the corresponding pressure gradients across the domain, including the boundaries. By comparing this solution to traditional stagnation-free filtration models, we demonstrate its broader applicability. The method offers a simplified approach to modeling filtration dynamics, validated by approximating boundary pressure evolution with an integral equation for filtration velocity. The findings are relevant to practical applications such as fluid filtration in engineering systems, hydrostructures, and bioreactors.
