This thesis focuses on the analysis of the radar crosssection (RCS) of small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in the X band. The aim of the thesis was to determine the RCS values of selected UAVs. RCS is a key parameter affecting the ability of radar systems to detect objects, after that to track them and possibly to identify detected. This is increasingly important given the growing deployment of UAVs in both civilian and military applications. The first part of the thesis addresses the general characteristics of UAVs, their construction, control systems, and potential applications. The following chapter provides a theoretical analysis of radar cross-section, its physical principles, and the factors influencing it. The subsequent section describes the method used for measuring RCS. The method was analyzed in detail regarding its accuracy, measurement speed and applicability. The thesis also highlights opportunities for further research development. This study analyzes the RCS values of small UAVs, providing valuable information for both drone and radar system designers. However, it does not address the potential applications of these values.
