The Use of AI in Proactive Maintenance

  • Original language description

Proactive maintenance represents a key approach to increasing the efficiency and reliability of technical systems. This article focuses on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of predictive maintenance, with an emphasis on machine learning and deep neural networks. First, we introduce current maintenance strategies and their evolution, followed by a discussion of the role of the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) in data collection and analysis. We then describe AI approaches in detail, including machine learning and deep learning methods, which enable the prediction of failures and optimization of maintenance. Finally, we summarize the benefits of using AI in proactive maintenance and discuss future challenges in this field.
