    The authors present an unusual case of massive bleeding into gastrointestinal tract. This source of such bleeding was not revealed by accessible diagnostic procedures and patient underwent urgent laparotomy. Bleeding was caused by massive colonization ofileum by Ascaris lumbricoides.

    Autoři prezentují neobvyklý případ masivního krvácení do gastrointestinálního traktu. Zdroj tohoto krvácení nebyl objeven dostupnými diagnostickými procedurami a pacient podstoupil urgentní laparotomii. Krvácení bylo způsobeno masivvní kolonizací ilea Ascaris lumbricoides.
