The identification and/or validation of breast carcinomas molecular signatures were provided by proteomic approaches. Surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (SELDI-TOF MS) offered high-throughput protein profiling,leading to extraction of protein array data, calling for effective and appropriate use of bioinformatics and statistical tools.

Identifikace a/nebo validace molekulárních signatur karcinomu prsu byla provedena proteomickým přístupem. SELDI-TOF MS nabízela vysoce účinné proteinové profilování vedoucí k extrakci array proteinových dat potřebných pro efektivní a výhodné použití v bioinformatických a statistických nástrojích.
