After a relatively long time to work, dealing with the development of the field of individual and collective protection, single?mindedly dedicated to finding the ideal solution to the problem of chemical compounds whose properties would be able to replace or simulate the properties of chemical warfare agents. Determination of the protective properties of individual protective means in relation to chemical warfare agents is currently very economically disadvantageous. This article points to some aspectsof 1.6-dichlorohexane usage as a possible alternative option for the test substance sulfur mustard. The basic advantage of the 1.6?dichlorohexane is its commercial availability and relatively safe to work with it.
