Why to Study Chemical Resistance of Selected IPE against Effects of Decontamination Mixtures?

The Czech Armed Forces Chemical Corps fulfils the most complicated tasks of chemical support and CBRN Defence in military operations. Thorough decontamination is one from these tasks. Its realization is possible to understand as a part of professional tasks fulfillment by the Czech Armed Forces Chemical Corps specialists. Isolative protective equipment of body surface protection is used in a protective position during thorough decontamination. After fulfillment of these tasks this equipment has to be decontaminated, too. Some of decontamination mixtures interact very aggressively on butyl rubber protective materials used for construction of garments ensuring specialists´ isolative protection of body surface. Present results of these materials study points on the necessity of development of methods concerning testing and evaluation of these materials with the aim to provide better specialists´ isolative protection. A paper deals with the necessity of further study of introduced material
