During the workshop the wargame prototype developed by the SAS SP 003 team was finalized and successfully play-tested in the General Staff Officers Course as a part of the Course Curriculum. The workshop started with the review of a developed wargame prototype and discussions focused on finalizing the game details and producing the support materials (tokens, country profiles, influence chart,…). During first two days the team participated on the wargame preparatory topics preceding the wargame (prognostics, risk assessment) in the General Staff Officers Course on 11 and 12 December, Croatian wargaming team also provided train the trainers wargaming lectures for the Czech team members. The wargame with the mechanics, game-flow and links from prognostics through risk assessment to the wargame was introduced to the course participants on 13 December before the start of the game on 16 December. The game itself was set up for six main players, four players representing global context and six actors representing regional context. Student groups of four in each team represented six main players and actively played the game. Four actors representing the global context were actively played by the steering group (White cell). The six regional context actors were not actively played. The game prototype play was successful and appreciated by the course participants. The workshop was concluded on 19 December with the discussion with students, team hot wash and feedback summary.
