Simultaneous determination of vitamin E, carotenoids and ergosterol in malt by RP-HPLC with photodiode-array and fluorescence detection
Original language description
A very fast and sensitive analytical chromatographic method for simultaneous determination of vitamin E, ergosterol and carotenoids was worked out. The method includes alkaline hydrolysis of samples, extraction with organic solvent and separation in a reversed-phase chromatographic system. The method was successfully applied for the determination of listed compounds in malt.
