Poster for Bologna conference ( LET?S 2014 29. 9. - 1. 10. 2014) evaluates the role of KETs in societal challenges namely the quest for secure, clean and efficient energy. We make use of the patent and publication data to appraise the knowledge generation and intellectual property growth dynamics in selected renewable energy sector (biomass/biofuels, fotovoltaics, fotothermics) and the role of broadly defined KETs in this particular energy sector.
