Climate service concepts from research to piloting and proof-of-concept with global scope
Original language description
Climate services have the potential to become the intelligence behind the transition to a climate-resilient and low-carbon society. The added value of climate services relies on matching the demand for services and the competences in the field. A European research and innovation roadmap for climate service offers a framework for discussion to the relevant actors and stakeholders. Roadmap paves the way to shared solutions and facilitates the development of a market for climate services that provides benefits to society. The event will present the policy view on the subject as well as stakeholders´ views, including the discussion of the challenge for Latin America and Caribe.
