Original language description
The article in Echo journal No. 3, 2017) discuss whether the collaboration with globally significant European research and university institutions in the FP induce spreading of excellence. The answer is positive: project proposals prepared in collaboration with such institutions have considerably greater chance to succeed than other projects. The article shows that increasing of the participation success rate due to such collaboration is one (of the few) effective ways to overcome the longstanding low participation of the New Member States in the FPs.
