The main goal of the article is to present and assess the key effects of realisation of the South Moravian Regional Innovation Strategy on the development of regional innovation ecosystem and regional economy and to assess its partial outputs and results as well. Additionally, the article identifies the most significant barriers to the successful realisation of the strategy and brings recommendations to their overcoming.
