Seminar organised in cooperation with the European Commission, Austria, the Czech presented the opportunities offered by the European Innovation Council (EIC). High-level speakers from the European Commission (including the president of the EIC Board Michiel Scheffer), and EISMEA introduced the overall strategy and gave an overview of the EIC's three main funding programmes: 1. EIC Pathfinder: for advanced research on breakthrough or pioneering technologies 2. EIC Transition: for the transformation of research results into innovation opportunities and 3.EIC Accelerator: for individual companies to develop and commercialise high-risk, high-impact breakthrough innovations
