Original language description
The Article brings the information about the exhibition on life and early works of jewish painter Georges Kars (1880-1945) from Kralupy near Prague, Czech Republic, who studied in Munich with Franz Stuck and in 1908 moved permanently to Paris, where he become quite famous painter of École de Paris. His art was influenced by Cubist before firts War, later mainly by neoclasicism. During the WWII he lived in Swiss and in the end of war he comitted suiside.
