We introduced three multi-criteria decision making methods: the Simple Additive Weighting method (SAW), the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution method (TOPSIS) and the Simple Additive Ranking method (SAR) and we applied them tothe problem of the qualitydriven selection of programs for the keeping books. We compared and analysed results of these methods with respect to the assumptions they are based on.
