    Positionings strategy is a way how the business wants to be seen by a customer. It is closely connected with market segmentation. In the knowledge economics, which isnbased on IT and CT, it means building of stabile client groups. Standard trade models must be enlarged by positioning strategies in a IT and CT environment to ensure long term growth of enterprises. The article describes possibilities of establishment of positioning strategy in the Czech internal retail subsystem. This contribution was processed within the Research Project of MSM 6046070906 ?The economics of Czech agricultural resources and then effective use within multifunctional systems of agriculture and food?, Faculty of Economics and Management,CUA in Prague.
