The contribution deals with the grant project focused to regional disparities in Czech Republic. The project is taking place in the years 2007-2010 and it is financed from the nation al budget of Czech Republic and from EU structural funds. The contribution describes the situation of some form of tourism, potential threats and challenges. The main phases of the grant project are described including their main aims and planned outputs. The solution of the project will be used by local authorities as wellas the entrepreneurs in the field of the country tourism and agro-tourism. One of the important out put is the inducement on interconnection of agro-tourism and firm tourism. The development of the modern form of tourist trade the firm tourism can leadto important positive impact to life and working conditions in rural regions.
