Analysis of Visegrad group countries' foreign trade commodity and territorial structure
Original language description
This study has analysed foreign trade development of the following countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and the Slovak Republic (Visegrad group countries - V 4 countries). The main aim of this paper is to characterise the total foreign trade development of these countries in order to determine the intensity of their trade relations. The EU integration processes significantly changed the commodity and territorial structure of trade for the individual countries. During the analysed time period the inter-annual growth rate of the external trade nominal value for the analysed countries was almost twice as high as the world and EU 27 average. The growth of the value of external trade flows is connected with a constantly growing level of openness of the individual economies.
