Original language description
The paper deals with the impact of system diagrams application on the ability of the formalization of the mathematical model of linear programming (LP). This impact was tested on the 1st year students of the course System analysis of product verticals, within the field of study Public administration and regional development at the FEM CULS Prague. The abilities of formalization have been compared strictly by means of an analytical method and its combination with system diagrams. The obtained results demonstrate improvement in the abilities of students? formalization depending on acquiring the skills of system diagrams application.
