THE POSITION OF THE CR AMONG THE EU STATES BASED ON CHOSEN MEASURES OF THE LISBON STRATEGY
Original language description
The Lisbon Strategy is a key document of the EU, which deals with the priorities and measures for stimulation of economic, social and ecological renewal of member states in the period 2000-2010. There are more than 130 structural measures. These structural measures designed for the international comparisons have been developed by Eurostat and they are used as basic data for the evaluation of the attainments of the Lisbon Strategy goals by the European Council. A list of 15 key indicators has been made in the last few years. The goal of the contribution is to propose methodological approaches suitable for the analysis of these indicators. The proposal of correct methodology is highly complicated due to the miscellanea of the variables. The multiple dimensional statistical methods seem to be useful especially because of their ability of complex evaluation of variables.
