Social responsibility of firms that enter into relations with the customer in the period globalization of the world economy, including globalization of the social processes, and accompanied consequences by the economic crisis, it is irreplaceable and isthe external manifestation of political culture in the country. In particular, if the customers are e.g. handicapped a disease or age and their economic and social status is complicated. The contribution deals with two groups of customers - consumers with diabetes mellitus and the seniors and their quality of life. The findings presented to in the Article also emerged from the project solution in the IGA PEF CZU in Prague 201111210060.
