An increasing amount of individuals is travelling between different cultures in today?s global society. The high percentage of foreign students at our universities requires specific attention. This study is focused on the relationship between preferred type of adjustment - acculturation strategy and level of acculturation stress among foreign students at Faculty of Economics and Management of the Czech University of Life Sciences. The Spearman?s rank correlation was computed to ascertain the hypothesisof relationship between variables. Significant positive correlation of the higher level of satisfaction with life and integrative acculturation strategy was discovered. The findings underline the importance of the type of acculturation strategy adoptionto ensure satisfactory psychological functioning of foreign students.
