This paper is about issue of mobile application development on established information web portals. Solution is demonstrated on the choice of suitable technologies and methods to develop mobile applications displaying content of AGRIS web portal (accessible on www.agris.cz). AGRIS - agrarian web portal ? was developed on the Microsoft platform and the data has been saved in relation database and XML files. AGRIS - agrarian web portal ? was developed and has been run by the Department of Information Technology, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
