The fundamental issues of increasing the level of training of social workers necessarily include the system of education. It is an essential part of the performance of the work of each social worker. In recent times, the training of workers in the socialsphere of the Czech Republic has undergone extensive changes. Mandatory training of employees is reflected in the activities of officials of both state administration and local authorities, whilst taking into consideration the specifics of these areas.In relation to defining terms such as authorities for the social and legal protection of children and compulsory training, the subject of the investigation is particularly to describe the obligations established for employers and employees in the field of ensuring compulsory training in the social sphere.
