Original language description
Efficiency calibrations of a coplanar CdZnTe detector were performed using the MCNP code. Small orphan sources and quasi-infinite surface plane sources were considered. Simulations of spectra in case of large scale NORM sources were carried out with the regard to specific activity concentrations in soils in the Czech Republic. Obtained background spectra were used for calculations of minimum detectable activity values for selected geometries.
