Vulnerability of aggregates separated from selected Anthrosols developed on reclaimed dumpsites
Original language description
The state of soil structure in epipedons of antrhrosols formed on dumpsites reclaimed by Doly Bílina Company was studied. The methodology proposed by Le Bissonais, Le Souder (1995) was used. The vulnerability coefficient (Kv) was introduced to evaluate the structural stability. It expresses a rate of diminishing of the aggretgate size compared to an ideal wieghted average of the size in the initial sample. A lower aggregate vulnerability was found in the case of older anthrosols (approximately 30 years), a higher vulnerability in the case of younger ones. Kv value was directly proportional to the silt and clay content and pHH2O. Reciprocally proportional relationship was found with Corg content and A400/A600 ratio as an indicator of organic matter quality. The use of quadratic form of regression equation gave the best results. It was statistically proved that the mechanism bsed on the breakdown by the air entrapped in the aggregates was responsible for the aggregate destruciton in the
