Original language description
Potato varieties were cultivated in classical higher land region (cooler and more humid) and lower land region(warmer and drier)in 1995-1997. Susceptibility to mechanical damage of the harvested tubers was studied using the pendulum Midas 88 PP. Season,region and variety significantly influenced the pendulum index (represents percent part of tubers not damaged in the test).
