The total number of anthomyiid species presently recorded from the study area in NW Bohemia amounts to 129. Among these, 13 species (Anthomyia bazini, Botanophila helviana, Chiastocheta inermella, C. rotundiventris, C. trollii, Chirosia griseifrons, Eglebicaudata, Heterostylodes pilifera, Lasiomma anthomyinum, Pegomya ruficeps, Phorbia singularis, Strobilomyia infrequens, S. melania) are new records from the Czech Republic. In addition, 12 species (Acyglossa atramentaria, Botanophila monticola, Delia carduiformis, D. criniventris, D. fallax, D. planipalpis, Eustalomyia vittipes, Eutrichota inornata, E. pilimana, Pegomya holosteae, P. laticornis, Pegoplata palposa) are new records from Bohemia. It follows that c. 61% of the 210 species of Anthomyiidaepresently known from the Czech Republic and c. 76% of the 170 species known from Bohemia have been found in the study area.
