Original language description
Altogether 78 species of the family Sphaeroceridae has been discovered in the area under study, this representing about 50.6 % of the total Czech fauna (154 species) of the family. Sphaeroceridae are widely saprophagous and many of them represent ubiquitous species with r-type of reprostrategy. These species settle all biotopes with satisfactory supply of decaying organic substrates and, therefore, they have been found even on localities in initial stage of revitalisation (e.g. loc. No 11, 17). However,in the territory ivestigated also more stenotopic species with higher bioindicative value were found, e.g. Crumomyia notabilis, C. pedestris, C. rohaceki, Gigalimosina flaviceps, Herniosina horrida, H. pollex, Leptocera oldenbergi, Paralimosina fucata, P. kaszabi, P. subcribrata, Phthitia spinosa, Pullimosina meijerei, Sphaerocera monilis, Terrilimosina schmitzi and, particularly, T. sudetica and Ischiolepta denticulata being mostly terricolous or microcavernicolous species preferring we
