Original language description
Seven observations in sheep-cote and four on pasture were done during the period of one year. Diurnal rhythm, length of manifestations of life and percentage rate of manifestations was evaluated. Optimal rate between activity and passivity is very important. This rate depends on the term of the year, type of housing and physiological condition of animals (gravidity, lactation). This ethological research verifies that it is appropriate to breed Charollais sheep under the conditions in the Czech republic.
