The photoperiodic response of buckwheat varieties (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench.)

Original language description

Two-year photoperiodic experiment was conducted to study the response to day lenght of Czech and a collection of 15 European buckwheat varieties. Short day fastened tho formation of generative organs only after several long days, usually after 10 to 15 days. It is possible divide the varieties in the group sensitive to short day, and varieties neutral to day lenght.
