Immunohistological analysis of chemically induced proteins in sugar beet
Original language description
Benzothiazole, glycine betaine and salicylic acid treatment induced accumulation of chitinase; ß-1,3-glucanase in roots and leaves of plants. Both enzymes were deposited in cell walls and extracellular spaces of parenchyma cells in leaves and in cortex parenchyma and endodermis of roots. Induced proteins were distributed over the whole plant regardless the site of inducer application.
