Immunohistological localization of chitinase and ß-1,3-glucanase in rhizomania-diseased and benzothiazole treated sugar beet roots
Original language description
Beet necrotic yellow vein virus induces in roots of infected plants accumulation of chitinase and ß-1,3-glucanase in cell walls and extracellular spaces. Benzothiazole also induced deposition of chitinase and ß-1,3-glucanase in cortex and endodermis cells. So, it could be used for protection of sugar beet against soilborne diseases.
