The article is a contribution to the problem solving of radiation conditions above different active surfaces by means of classic and non traditional phytoactinometric methods. The universal pyranometer and the sensor described in ?New method of spatial insolation measurement by means of special thermoelectric sensor? (Klabzuba, Kožnarová, 2003) were applied as the measurement instruments. The standard surface of actinometry (grass-cover), black and white mulching non-woven fabrics, sunflower and maize stands were studied as active surface. The great significance of spatial radiation is demonstrated in presented results.
