  • Original language description

This work deals with the parasitological situation of antelopes in Senegal in connection with the construction and settlement of a reserve for the endangered species Giant eland (Taurotragus derbianus) in the framework of the project "Preservation and breeding of Giant eland in Senegal" in comparison with the parasite fauna in limited space quarantine in Bandia natural reserve and in ZOOs in Czech Republic. The spectrums of parasites with free living antelopes in much more wider than we recognize on limited space in reserves, game ranches and zoological gardens. Figures of disseminated eggs found out at koproovoscopic investigation are an epidemiologic indicator of the creation of focuses of parasite infections. The numbers of eggs and oocysts with free living antelopes are lower than on areas of ranch, quarantines or runs. In ZOOs these numbers increase, similarly to the situation of adult parasites. In comparison with the overall prevalence with antelopes in Senegal 70,00% were found
