The influence of long-term soil contamination on trace elements content in plant cover
Original language description
The trace element contents in biomass of plants growing on long-term contaminated soil in relation to the distance from the contamination source were evaluated in this experiment. The total and mobile contents of elements in soil decrease with the distance from the contamination source. The correlation coefficients describe significant relationship between plant element content and mobile fraction. Spatial variability of plant element contents is not only related to mobile contents of elements in soil but to plant species diversity on individual sites, as well.
