The influence of different soil vegetation covers onto the volumetric soil weight in different ways of setting land aside
Original language description
Influence of the different soil covers in the set aside land to the volumetric soil weight was observed in years 2002 ? 2005. Spontaneous fallow was established in autumn 2001, plots with artificial revegetation sowed with grass-legume mixture of Dactylis polygama Horv. a Trifolium repens L. in spring 2002. Experimental plots were mulched twice during the vegetation period. Volumetric soil weight (g cm-3) was registered in the same time also on bare ground. Volumetric soil weight was appreciated in thelayers of soil from 0 to 5 cm, 5 to 10 cm, 10 to 15 cm and 15 to 20 cm, always in spring period. Statistically significant influence of target grassing set aside and spontaneous set aside to the decrease of the volumetric soil weight was observed on thebase of experiments compared with bare fallow in the layer 5 to 15 cm four years after setting land aside. Dactylis polygama and Trifolium repens stands reduced significantly volumetric soil weight in the layer 0 to 5 cm third and fourth
