The content of Mo, Mn, and Zn in oilseed rape plants after application of different forms of nitrogen and sulphur fertilizers
Original language description
The aim of published experiments was to determine the effect of N-S fertilizing on the content of selected microelements in the plants and the quality of the seed production of winter oilseed rape. The results confirmed the importance of sulphur fertilizers application in the cultivation technology of winter oilseed rape, even on fertile sites. The lower Mo concentration in both fertilized treatments is obvious. The relatively very low contents in the ANS treatment cannot be explained only by the increase in the biomass, there was also the effect of the antagonistic relationship between the sulphate and molybdenum anions during their absorption by the plant. A statistically significant increase in the glucosinolates contents treatment was determined inthe ANS treatment. The ANS treatment showed high nitrogen and sulphur contents in the seeds. This indirectly confirms an increased protein synthesis, which is also negatively manifested by reduced oiliness.
