    A new, until recently unknown locality of the endangered species Maculinea telejus was announced in Kolín district (Czech Republic: Central Bohemia): Loukonosy (square mapping code 5858, geographical coordinates: 50°07'29''N/15°25'27''E, 209 m above sealevel). Key myrmecological research was conducted on this location, in which the following ant species were discovered: Formica cunicularia, Lasius niger, Lasius flavus, Myrmica scabrinodis, Myrmica sabuleti. Furthermore, new unpublished locations of Maculinea nausithous from Kolín district are included in the report: Týnecké mokřady (Týnecké Wetlands) Natural Monument (5958, 50°03´01´´N/15°23´22´´E, 203 m), Bělušice (5957, 50°03´49´´N/15°19´41´´E, 236 m), Tři Dvory (5957, 50°01´32´´N/15°15´35´´E, 197 m), Loukonosy (5858, 50°07'29''N/15°25'27''E, 209 m) and previously unconfirmed sightings of M. telejus on the Kolín district location: Kolínská tůň (Kolínská Pond) Natural Monument (5957, 50°01'31''N/15°14'18''E, 203 m) and Hryzely (6055,
