The Influence of Standard and Intensive Growing System on the Yield and Technological Quality of Sugar Beet
Original language description
In small plot experiment the influence of different growing technology on the yield and technological quality of three different sugar beet types was studied. In resistant cultivar Takt and in non-resistant cultivar Compass intensive technology with doseof 80 kg N.ha-1 reached the best results. For existing cultivars this technology proved to be the most suitable one. Intensive technology with dose of 160 kg N.ha 1 showed itself the most significantly in old yield cultivar Dobrovická A, where in comparison with standard technology we found higher yield of roots, significantly higher yield of tops and higher yield of polarization sugar. Resistant cultivar Takt and non-resistant cultivar Compass responded negatively to higher nitrogen dose.
