  • Original language description

The 51 species of the family Tipulidae from Podyjí NP represent 41 % of the total Czech fauna. In comparison with the faunas of the Bílina and Duchcov environs (MARTINOVSKÝ & BARTÁK 2000) and the Pálava BR (MARTINOVSKÝ 1998), the number of species foundin Podyjí NP is higher (38 species found in Bílina and Duchcov environs, and 35 species in Pálava BR), and the Sörensen´s coefficient of similarity is 61 % and 59% respectively. The most frequent species in the studied area was T. hortorum, found in 12 localities. Followed by N. aculeata and T. pabulina (10 localities), T. helvola (9 samples) and N. quadrifaria (8 samples). It is especially conspicuous that N. aculeata rather common in Podyjí NP has not been recorded in the Pálava BR or even Bílina andDuchcov environs. In the Bílina and Duchcov environs, the most frequent species was N. appendiculata (found in 13 localities) and in Podyjí NP we found this species in only two samples.
