    Altogether 142 species of Hybotidae (22 of them still undescribed) have been found in the studied area between 2001 and 2004 (representing 61.9 % of all species of the family known presently from the Czech Republic if only described species are counted).Most of the species found were European (35 species, 28.9 %) and Temperate and North European (31 species, 25.6 %), followed by Temperate European and West Palaearctic elements (19 species both, 15.7 %), smaller part of species were Holarctic (8 species, 6.6 %), Temperate and South European (5 species, 4.1 %) and Palaearctic (4 species, 3.3 %) elements. Eight species are recorded here for the first time from the Czech Republic (C. aeneus, C. minimus, E. albipennis, P. annulitarsis, P. maculimanus, P. rossicus, P. stigma and P. unguiger); another 15 for the first time in Moravia (Al. pallida, An. beatricella, B. nigrita, C. abditus, D. convergens, O. kowarzi, O. montana, P. australominutus, P. caroli, P. longimanus, P. nigrosetosus, P.
