There are 38 species of the family Calliphoridae from Podyjí NP, representing 66.6 % of the total Czech fauna. The most frequent species in the studied area were C. vicina, C. vomitoria, C. mortuorum, P. rudis (collected in all localities), followed by L. sericata and L. silvarum (17 samples), M. viridicyanea, P. pediculata (14 samples), M. gentiles (13 samples). Altogether two species found in Podyjí NP were included in the recent regional Red list (KUBÍK et al. 2005) as vulnerable (A. acerba and L. bufonivora). In comparison with the calliphorid fauna of the Bílina and Duchcov environs (PAPE et al. 2001), the number of species found in the Podyjí NP was higher (31 species in Duchcov and Bílina environs), and the Sörensen´s coefficient of similarity was 84 %. The fauna of the Pálava BR (GREGOR & ROZKOŠNÝ 1999) was higher in species richness (43 species), and the Sörensen´s coefficient of similarity was 81.5 %.
