  • Original language description

Altogether 108 species are known to occur in Europe [5] ? however, several newly described species are omitted there; 27 of them are listed in the present checklist (25 in Czech Republic, 13 in Bohemia, 24 in Moravia, and 18 in Slovakia). From the time of publication of the last version of checklist the number of species increased by one species (erroneously omitted in previous version) and additional species published in [1]. The faunistics of Moravia is rather more studied than poorly known fauna of both Bohemia and Slovakia. Basic characteristics of the family were given by [7,9]. Czech species may be identified using the key and figures in [2,3,4,6,9,11], including some newly described species.
