    Emerging comparison of two different generations of Brassica pod Midge (Dasineura brassicae Winn.) in laboratory conditions

    The results of our observations were used to calculate the developmental zero (DVZ) and thermal requirements (TR) for the first and second generation. We found out that the TR and DVZ are for each generation different. For first, overwintering generationDVZ was 7,5 oC and TR= 188,7 day degrees (DD). The second generation has DVZ= 7,1 oC and TR= 153,8 DD. From these results we could monitor the evolution course of the pod gall midge and predict the number of generations in the year, in dependence on thermal requirements.

    Cílem práce bylo simulovat různé teploty prostředí v laboratorních podmínkách pro první dvě generace a vzájemně je porovnat. Ze získaných dat byl stanoven spodní práh vývoje (SPV) a suma efektivních teplot (SET) pro bejlomorku kapustovou. Pro první (diapauzní) generaci byl SPV 7,5 oC a SET 188,7 denních stupňů. Druhá generace měla SPV stanoven na 7,1 oC a SET byla 153,8 denních stupňů.
