Significant amount of universities activities is focused on research and support of its realization in practice. Continuing priorities of Department of Plant Production at the University of Life Sciences in Prague are problematic of yield formation including production quality and growing systems of oil crops, cereals, root crops and legumes, furthermore organic farming, seed production, medicinal plants and hop. Based on good knowledge of this problematic our department regularly prepares suitable methodical tools for agricultural consultants. Mostly it is presentation of research results at conferences, seminars and field days. Results are handed over not only by oral presentation but especially in printed proceedings (e.g. compendium of new knowledge?s etc.), and these are presented on internet portal AGRIS.
