Possibilities of Exploatation of Standard Climatic Characteristics for Agrometeorological Purposes

  • Original language description

The paper deals with limiting climatic factors and negative weather events during the whole growing season of rape (Brassica napus) in Central European Region. Special view is devoted to the possibilities of their semi-quantitative evaluation and reduction of the negative impacts as well. 15 different growing seasons were explored. The most important meteorological hazards and limits are: drought during the sowing (August), deficit of precipitation in September (emergency and juvenile plants), wet and warm autumn (abundance of biomass and low resistance against frost in winter), winter low temperature (without snow-cover especially), drought during spring (April), rainy and cold weather during flowering (May).
